Join the ANEMOS Project for a unique opportunity to learn choreography, rehearse together online, and come together in Athens, Greece for a live performance at Raqs Athens Festival 2026.
Your journey begins with learning the choreography at your own pace through three video tutorials. Dancers who wish to perform will then submit a practice reel before continuing to the live rehearsal process.
The project culminates in Athens with in-person rehearsals and a live performance on:

PHASE 1 — REGISTER & LEARN

REGISTRATION & CHOREOGRAPHY VIDEO ACCESS OPENS
Register for the ANEMOS Project and purchase access to the complete choreography video package.

Learn and practice the choreography at your own pace.

3 VIDEOS • €50 TOTAL (~$58 USD)
Registration gives you access to the choreography videos so you can begin preparing independently.
Start learning as soon as possible to give yourself plenty of time to prepare for the next phase of the project.

PHASE 2 — SUBMIT YOUR PRACTICE REEL
⭐️PRACTICE REEL DEADLINE OCTOBER 25⭐️
Dancers who wish to be considered for the ANEMOS Project Performance Group must submit a practice reel.
Your practice reel confirms your intention to perform and demonstrates your preparation with the choreography.
IMPORTANT
Purchasing access to the choreography videos does not automatically guarantee a place in the final Performance Group.
Performance Group membership will be confirmed based on the completion of all required participation steps and project requirements.

The final ANEMOS Project Performance Group will be confirmed.
Selected participants will continue to the live rehearsal process.

PHASE 3 — ONLINE REHEARSALS
NOVEMBER 2026
The live online rehearsal process begins in November.
Performance Group members will rehearse together live online to refine the choreography, fix places and parts, and prepare for the final performance in Athens.

ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED`
It is ESSENTIAL for Performance Group members to attend and actively participate in all required online rehearsals. Rehearsal times will be scheduled and agreed upon by all group members based on availability.

THE FINAL WEEKEND IN ATHENS
The ANEMOS Project comes together in person in Athens, Greece!
After preparing independently and rehearsing together online, the Performance Group will meet in Athens for final rehearsals before the performance.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the ANEMOS Project Performance Group, participants must:
✓ Register independently as a participant of Raqs Athens Festival 2026 (minimum one festival workshop) – Contact @RaqsAthensFestival for all workshop prices and package options
✓ Register for the ANEMOS Project and purchase access to the choreography videos (link below)
✓ Learn and practice the choreography independently
✓ Submit a practice reel by October 25
✓ Be selected for the ANEMOS Project Performance Group
✓ Attend all required online rehearsals in November
✓ Be available to travel to and stay in Athens for the required project dates
✓ Attend the in-person rehearsals on November 26 and November 27 in Athens
✓ Be available to perform on November 28, 2026, at Raqs Athens!
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Participation in the ANEMOS Project Performance Group requires participants to also be registered as participants of Raqs Athens Festival 2026.
Festival registration is separate from the ANEMOS Project choreography video purchase.
Please make sure you are able to attend the festival and be available in Athens for all required rehearsal and performance dates before registering for the project.
Costuming:
Dancers eligible for the performance group are not required to purchase costuming. Costumes will be sourced from Athena Najat’s collection as well as each dancer’s own pieces. Costumes will be coordinated by the collective group but are at the direction/curation of Athena Najat.
